I have never taken a head massage class, but it certainly sounds like an activity that could release a bit of tension. Bamboo Thai Massage, a Thai massage studio in Red Hook is offering a Heavenly Head Massage class on Saturday, September 28th from 9 am-12 noon. "In this three-hour class, I will teach techniques for self-massage of the neck, face and head Thai style and as well as some of the most effective Thai massage techniques for the head to use with those we love. My classes are always light-hearted, no experience necessary, and firmly rooted in my many years of therapeutic practice," says owner Pamela Herrick, LMT. The class is $60 per person and is held in her Germantown studio. Have you ever tried Thai massage? How was it compared to other types of massages?
