Every year I devise my Ten Best Films list in a quite simple way: I happen to see roughly 10 films, so I put them in order. (The best is first.) This year, I viewed exactly 10 movies! — all but two of them at the Woodstock Film Festival (American Hustle & Blue Jasmine I saw in Poughkeepsie and East Hampton, respectively).
