In honoring the musical legacy of Pete Seeger, we are proud take part in releasing "To My Old Brown Earth." This single from the Pete Seeger/Jeff Haynes album Pete Seeger: The Storm King contains vocals, guitar, and violin to compliment Pete's moving spoken word testament to our mother earth and to the end of his life. As of today, the full single is available on CD Baby, and can be purchased on iTunes and Amazon later this week.

In addition, a performance of Pete Seeger: The Storm King will take place to celebrate Pete's 95th birthday. On Sunday, May 4 at the Towne Crier in Beacon, Jeff Haynes presents a night honoring Pete's touching gift for storytelling. The show features Pete Seeger's recorded spoken words as he recounts his most engaging stories, narratives, and poems set to live music by Dar Williams, David Amram, Richie Stearns, Timothy Hill, Sarah Malonavich, Casey Erdman, Jacob Bernz, NFA D.R.U.M.
