A new year is coming, inviting a time of innovation into our lives. ArtBridge prepares to wipe the slate clean on the Kingston Bridge and accept applications for a new annual outdoor exhibition to take the stage. ArtBridge is a New York City-based nonprofit organization, aiming to develop and support local and emerging artists by raising opportunity and exposure to artists by connecting their work to the public.

ArtBridge presents a unique opportunity for mid-Hudson Valley-based visual artists to submit their pieces of original contemporary art. If chosen their work will be reproduced and enlarged onto a 90 foot bridge that located in midtown Kingston.

Work will be reviewed by Ariel Shanberg (Executive Director at the Center for Photography at Woodstock), Jane Bloodgood-Abrams (Kingston-based artist), Ken Greene (Creative Director of the Hudson Valley Seed Library), and Janet Hicks (founder, One Mile Gallery). The deadline for applications is January 5th.

The artwork will be displayed on the Kingston Bridge for six months beginning in March 2015. To apply as a contestant please visit artbridgekingston.org.
