Meidav on Conjunctions

Posted By on Mon, Apr 13, 2015 at 1:08 AM

The literary magazine Conjunctions (edited by Bradford Morrow) is celebrating its 25th anniversary at Bard College. As part of the essay I wrote for Chronogram, I spoke to Edie Meidav, author of 3 award-winning novels, most recently LOLA,CALIFORNIA. Edie said:

“Brad Morrow continues to create not just a journal but an unbelievable community with both the breadth of his enthusiasms and the specificity of his curatorial vision. It is rare to find an imagined community like Conjunctions, and it is a testament to some health at the margins of our culture that it continues to exist, curious and loyal as it is. And its aesthetic helped form me as a writer, and brought me east. And I must mention Micaela Morrisette in the office, a switch-conductor who puts an additional shine on the legacy.”
