Not just kids love to jump. For adults, the simple joy of the trampoline is enough to make them forget that they're getting a great workout.

Bounce! Trampoline Sports in Poughkeepsie wants to encourage the trend of grownups going vertical. Starting October 7, Bounce! will introduce its first Adult Night every Wednesday from 7 to 8pm. Open to ages 18 and up only, Adult Night will feature a range of activities including Bouncersize, a trampoline-based exercise class limited to the first 24 who register in advance, dodgeball games, foam pit jumping, slam dunk basketball, and access to the new Bounce! Xtreme Agility Courses. The cost is $10 for the hour.

Of course, adults can jump during other open sessions at Bounce! But during Adult Night, they won't have to share the enormous courts of interconnected trampolines with the teeny-bopper set.

NASA research shows that supervised jumping on trampolines is “the most efficient, effective form of exercise yet devised by man." It's a low-impact workout that helps tone muscles, burn fat, reduce stress, and improve coordination for all ages.
