Lovers of dance and divinity: Save the date for an evening of ecstatic movement with renowned spiritual dancer Banafsheh at Euphoria Yoga in Woodstock on May 18.

The Iranian-born dance artist and teacher will lead her "Dance of Oneness" workshop, presenting a fusion of dance and spirituality which combines the art of Sufi whirling dervishes, Persian dance, flamenco, Tai Chi, and other movement forms for self-illumination, healing, and connection with the divine within. The workshop weaves together personal development and dance through structured and freestyle movement, poetry recitation, chanting, experiential anatomy, Chinese meridian pathways, and other modalities.

The workshop is open to all, with or without a background in dance and movement. Says Banafsheh, "Dance to feel the miracle of your existence and feel the joy that connects you to spirit."
