Ultraam Unveils New Sounds Online

Last week, everyone’s Hudson Valley space-improv band, Ultraam, unveiled The A EP, the first of four digital-only EPs the group is releasing as the lead-up to next month’s drop of their full-length debut, The Pastures of Ultraam.

The instrumental outfit has been blowing minds since 2014 and features Mercury Rev’s Jeff Mercel and Grasshopper and their fellow veteran local players Matthew Cullen, Chris Turco, D. James Goodwin, Marc Ferraro, and Eli Walker. If you haven’t stepped inside the space oven at one of their too-infrequent area gigs, well, then, my friend, I’m afraid you’re nothing but a sad, ground-tethered Earth mortal.
