Endlessly, Joe Concra, 1998, oil on canvas, 63 x 75 inches 1998 Concra, a Kingston-based painter, will be exhibiting his oversized, moody oil paintings of failed ballooning attempts at the Carrie Haddad Gallery in Hudson this month. When Chronogram informed Concra that his work would appear on the cover of our Failure issue Concra gushed: “It’s perfect! I’m honored. It’s like, ‘Hey! Concra’s a failure—there it is [in four color glossy].’”
