Poughkeepsie photographer and artist Franc Palaia
has exhibited his photographs and illuminated photo sculptures at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New Jersey State Museum, and the Houston
Museum of Fine Arts, among other venues. Palaia's work is held in the
public collection of the Museum of Modern Art Library, the Brooklyn Museum,
and the Polaroid Corporation. A solo exhibition of Palaia's painted Polaroids
and illuminated photography will be on view at the Palmer Gallery at Vassar
