Conservation Advisory Commission Informational Meeting

The Environmental Cooperative at the Vassar Barns will host Laura Heady, Conservation and Land Use Coordinator for the Hudson River Estuary Program to discuss Conservation Advisory Commissions. Laura will speak about what a CAC's role is in advising municipal officials, educating residents and improving conservation efforts in local municipalities. Laura will talk about what other urban CAC's are doing in the Hudson Valley. She will be available to answer questions about starting a CAC in Poughkeepsie.
