A Poem: My Youth

Our heads tucked against our arms
upon the backs of another.
Under the desk, the flash of light
Don’t look.

And you wonder why we are like we are?
living on the fault line,
Not if, only when.

Speaking of Light, fault Line

  • A poem by Richard Tornello.
