Optimistic Aging: Lunch & Learn: Hoboes to Hoovervilles

FDR Library's education specialist Jeff Urbin will present "Hoboes and Hoovervilles: Depression Era Migration, Upheaval and the Roosevelt Response." Learn about the fascinating history of migrant workers and the homeless during the Depression era. Find out what they ate, how they traveled, how they communicated, and what President Franklin D. Roosevelt did to help them get back on their feet. A light lunch will be served at 12:30.
