Poem: A Year in 4 Poems

A Year in 4 Poems

Summer
There is no poem in this
Though I feel it rising within me
And wanting to come out

Fall
Traitorous maple,
Harbinger of cruel autumn,
Tolls summer’s death knell.

February
Weary;
I’m
So
Tired
From
Unfulfilled
Longing.

Awakening
Last night I heard the
Peepers and birds gossiping
In their joyfulness.
