back highway unpaved
pitch-black
mountain back

through the chasm down
creek bed
a slant 70º

falling rock
black-brown hair
straight down her back
pretty is as pretty does

lover horror

we ventured to the cave the moon shone the cave paintings glistened lightning brilliance

then

precipitation begins
back down
washboard drive

dust rises
