The Recovery of Hudson Valley Bald Eagles with Tom Lake

In 1997, a nesting pair of Bald Eagles in Greene County produced the first fledgling in the Hudson Valley in 100 years. This past breeding season, nineteen years later, Hudson River watershed Bald Eagles produced more than three dozen new eagles.
