New Paltz photographer Chris Lopez’s
career is in the ascendent. After attendance at the prestigious Eddie
Adams Workshop this summer, Lopez’s photographs will be published
in an upcoming book, based on the workshop, documenting New York City
one year after September 11 through the eyes of 100 photographers. The
book is due out in February, 2003.
Lopez also recently won a prize for
photojournalism in the bi-annual American Photo contest. His image is
published in the November/December issue. Locally, Lopez will be exhibiting
his work at the Barrett Art Center Members’ Show in Poughkeepsie,
