An exhibition of photographs by Robert Mapplethorpe (1946-1989), selected by Cindy Sherman, will be shown at Sean Kelly Gallery in New York City, September 13 through October 18. The exhibition contains work from all area’s of Mapplethorpe’s principal aesthetic interests including: still-lifes, portraits, figure studies, flowers, body fragments, and classical statues.
