“Living History: American Pop Culture and the Performer,” a photographic exhibition featuring black-and-white and color prints by Lauren Piperno, will be on display at the Coffey Gallery in Kingston from November 1 through December 2. “Living History” is a continued investigation by Kingston-based artist Piperno into America’s nostalgia for bygone eras, exemplified by sacred Powwow gatherings, colonial reenactments, ballroom dancers, and nightclub cigarette girls.

AN OPENING RECEPTION FOR “LIVING HISTORY” WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1, FROM 5 TO 7PM. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CALL (845) 339-6105.
