Summer Institute for the Gifted: At Vassar College

SIG is a residential program where students become a part of a community of like-minded young people. Students at the SIG program are dedicated to academic excellence, social and emotional growth, and creative excitement. Every student is scheduled for five academic periods during each of the 15 academic days. Students select from over 60 academic, arts and recreational courses. The program is open to students ages 10 to 17.
Vassar College Summer iD Tech Camp

iD Tech Camps offer week long day and overnight summer technology programs for ages 7 to 17 at 60 prestigious colleges and universities including Vassar College. Students create 2D and 3D video games, experience game modeling with Unreal Engine 3, improve gaming skills with the Gaming Athletes course, design websites with Flash animations, film and edit digital movies, learn programming, and more. Special Teen programs ages 13 to 18 include: iD Gaming Academy, iD Film Academy, and iD Programming Academy. June 27 through August 6, 2010

The Summer Institute is an educational enrichment program that combines a wide variety of disciplines. Students will receive instruction in language, music, writing and more. The institute will run during the camp.
