This weekend, bring your kids to experience a different kind of Super Bowl. Specifically, the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum's skee ball arcade game that doubles as an introduction to basic graphing. The interactive and educational Poughkeepsie destination spot for families with young children launches "Fun 2, 3, 4!", a new exhibition that explores the fun side of math, on February 2, with a special exhibition preview for museum members on Friday, February 1, from 6 to 8pm.
The exhibition includes 16 hands-on exhibits that introduce basic math skills, such as measuring, estimating, counting, and calculating. Activities include "How Many is a Million?", which involves spinning gears in order to be the first to topple over a glass, and "Measure the Dino"—a game where kids use their feet as the measuring tools.
The "Fun 2, 3, 4!" exhibit opens this weekend at the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum in Poughkeepsie.
