Looking for an action-packed way to spend a Sunday with the kids? Tomorrow, the best of the Hudson Valley's family friendly offerings will be gathered in one place for Chronogram Kids & Family Fun Day.

In partnership with Kingston YMCA and sponsored by Pegasus Kids Shoes, Chronogram Kids & Family will host a fair-style event at the Rosendale Recreation Center from 12pm-5pm on June 2. The YMCA of Kingston will present outdoor activities, including beachball volleyball, a scavenger hunt, kickball, and a 50 yard scream, where kids scream as loud as they can while running for—you guessed it—50 yards. Under the pavilion, there will be performances throughout the day, including Story Laurie and Uncle Rock as well as the Percussion Orchestra of Kingston. A drawing demo with children's book illustrator David Horowitz will take place in the Rec Center at noon, followed by a young adult authors panel. In addition to the scheduled activities, there will be lots to do throughout the day, including hula hoop contests, seedling workshops, family photography with Lorna Tychostup, and a meet and greet with animals from the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. Block Factory Tamales, Mr. Grumpy's, and Yum Yum on Wheels will be serving food throughout the day, and Jane's Homemade Ice Cream will be serving up scoops.
