Soulful, spellbinding music with Abdoulaye Diabate— who will be playing the Afropop Worldwide's banning eyre— comes to Bread Alone in Rhinebeck on Saturday November 15, from 5 to 11pm. =

Presented by Jazzstock, the proceeds benefit Afropop Worldwide, who has provided the New York area with 25-years of music that has documented the golden age of modern African music. Afropop Woldwide is best known for a renowned and unique collection of audio interviews, live recordings, private performances, photographs, and videos featuring contemporary African artists. By incorporating a range era's throughout African history— incorporating the ancient past and morphing it into the cutting edge present— Afropop Woldwide has successful synced music, history, and culture into one.

Tickets are $25, including a courtesy refreshment— along with a Break Alone Bakery purchase. Either pay-at-the-door or reserved tickets are available. To learn more about the event please visit the event's official Facebook page.
