Rockin’ indie bands the Mystery Lights and Pony in the Pancake will perform at the 15th installment of SmashCrashBash!!, a monthly rock ’n’ roll-themed party in Hudson, NY, on Friday, February 6, beginning at 9pm. SmashCrashBash!! features live performances by the tops in totally rockin’, hand-picked touring bands and DJs spinning the best in punk, garage, vintage glam, rock ’n’ roll, and old-school R&B for your dancing and screaming pleasure.

Born in California but now based in New York, the Mystery Lights are heavily inspired by raw, hard-hitting 1960s garage rock and late-’70s punk; their sound is blues-based with extreme psychedelic elements, and has been described as “high-energy fueled garage rock action.” See for yourself:

Upstate faves Pony in the Pancake will return to once again kick out their singular take on rollicking, experimental lo-fi pop. DJing at the winter blast will be Lunar Moss (WGXC’s “Lunar Moss Radio Show”) and yours truly.

SmashCrashBash!! #15 with the Mystery Lights and Pony in the Pancake at the Half Moon in Hudson at 9pm. Admission is $6. For more information, call (518) 828-1562 or visit http://thehalfmoonhudson.com/.
