The Esthesis Quartet
Jazzstock Productions brings another swinging show to the Senate Garage on January 12 when the acclaimed all-female Esthesis Quartet pays a visit to the historic space.

Comprised of Denver-based pianist Dawn Clement, Swedish flutist Elsa Nilsson, Chicago bassist Emma Dayhuff, and Los Angeles drummer Tina Raymond, the foursome unveiled their eponymous debut album on Orenda Records in May 2022. The disc has drawn enthusiastic coverage from Down Beat and All About Jazz.

“Esthesis Quartet is a fearless launch into a future that one would hope includes extensive touring,” writes Paul Rauch at All About Jazz. “The high level of artistry is without question, that which possesses a spirit that would surely thrive on the night to night realities of the road. It promises as well, to shed some light on the band's four members, each a high-level contributor to the canon of modern jazz.”

The Esthesis Quartet will perform at the Senate Garage in Kingston on January 12 at 7pm. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Jazzstock website. Seating is limited to 100 attendees.
