There’s a Bakery, Tap Room, & Farmer's Market. Concessions, Food Trucks and other vendors at 12noon. There’s fire pits to warm you in the evening! Friday AND Saturday nights, see fireworks, and catch the Moon Glow.
Afternoon launches are at 6:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; and Saturday & Sunday mornings at 6:00 am. The Festival runs Friday, 10am-10pm; Saturday, 5am gates open; admission for morning launches is free until 10am. On Saturday tickets are $10/advance, $12/gate, and $17.95 weekend passes accepted. Want to take a ride in a hot-air balloon? Every day, take a Tethered Hot-Air Balloon Ride for $20 (cash-only at fest). Some Balloon Rides are available by advance purchase. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime experience! A balloon adventure is three hours from set-up through pack-up, with the flight lasting 45 minutes. You’ll return to the launch site in a chase vehicle. Signing up doesn’t guarantee you’ll fly, as flights are weather dependent and take off at the discretion of the pilot. Sometimes, due to weather or other conditions, balloons launch early, late, or not at all.
Check out the Helicopter Rides from Independent Helicopters on Friday from 2-5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12-5pm. The GPS is Barton Orchards, 63 Apple Tree Lane, Poughquag. For Off-Site Parking, use 331 Greenhaven Road, Poughquag.
