The 2013 Taste of Country Music Festival lines up big names in country music for a two-stage event at Hunter Mountain from June 13 through 15. The inaugural Taste of Country lineup incorporates three diverse generations of country music, including Willie Nelson and Family, Lady Antebellum, and Hunter Hayes, showcasing country music's impact on people of all ages. Nelson recently released a new album, Let's Face the Music and Dance, and Hayes just scored his first #1 hit with his recent single, "Wanted". This will be the last live performance by Lady Antebellum until after the birth of co-singer/songwriter Hillary Scott's baby girl.
Other acts in the festival's lineup include Trace Adkins, Billy Currington, Montgomery Gentry, Joe Nichols, Gloriana, Justin Moore, and a dozen more. The grounds are open for both tent and RV camping. In addition to a packed weekend of country music, activities include a Frisbee golf course, Ash Street Puppetworks, which will offer kid's workshops as well as parades of their 12-foot high puppets, and Skyride, a chairlift that you can ride to the top of the mountain. People of all ages can enjoy the music and activities by purchasing a one or three-day pass.
