Every year, Warwick magically transforms into a winter wonderland from November 22 through December 24, starting with the breathtaking Festival of Trees Gala and culminating in Christmas Eve caroling.
The open house on November 22 from 10am–5pm sends the town into a flurry of activity—storefronts sparkle with lights and holiday trimmings while local carolers tra-la-la through the village’s shops and restaurants. Horsedrawn carriages are readied to kick off a month of free rides every weekend through December 22, weather permitting.
Throughout the town, local businesses and organizations uphold the winter traditions that keep the holiday season so close to our hearts — steaming mugs of hot chocolate and a red-cheeked Santa Claus bring cheer to the village green. A menorah lighting, gingerbread house contests, and festive performances abound throughout the town. Seasonal treats and complimentary gift wrapping are offered by shop keepers and business owners.
Tis the season to give to those in need! The Angel Tree on Main Street is adorned with the names and ages of children who may have a bare tree this holiday season. Pick an angel and purchase an appropriate gift as a guardian angel, spreading the holiday cheer to those less fortunate.
The Warwick Merchant Guild sponsors the six-week, town-wide celebration, but the local shopkeepers, business owners, and residents come together to make the annual event truly unforgettable.
