Ravenwood's Barn Dinners Return | General Food & Drink | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine
Despite only launching last year, Ravenwood's upstate barn dinners have had immense success, selling out weeks and even months in advance.

The rustic-chic farm feasts are the latest iteration of a project begun by Chris Lanier and Dana McClure when they still lived in Brooklyn, where they would host intimate dinners to showcase the produce from the four-acre farm in Olivebridge. As a concept Ravenwood has evolved to symbolize the synthesis of agriculture, artisanry, and community, and as a space it has been transformed into a gorgeous hub for gatherings.

The coveted on-farm dinners take place in the gorgeous newly renovated 19th-century barn. The evenings open with a plein-air cocktail, served while guests mingle on the lawn. Then guests are then seated at a long, farm table inside the barn and served wine, hors d’oeuvres, and dinner made with produce from on the farm. Scrumptious proceedings are tied off with dessert and a bon fire.

From the fresh smells of nature floating on the air, to the beautiful table settings, and charred scent of fire-roasted vegetables, these exquisitely curated evenings are a feast for the senses.

The first Dinner in the Barn will be held on Friday, June 29 from 6:30 to 9:30pm ($185 per person).  Tickets are $185 per person and have just gone on sale. Spots fill up quick, so reserve your seat soon.

If you can't make this one, don't worry, this won't be your only chance to dine farm-style. Discover more Hudson Valley farm dinners in summer 2018.
