Twelve-hundred of New York State's official reptile live in the National Audubon Society’s Constitution Marsh just below Boscobel in Garrison. Every June, visitors can walk the museum's vast acreage and witness each turtle deposit 20 to 60 ping-pong ball-sized eggs into the lawn.
