28th Annual DanceFest 2020

Ten local dance schools will come together to share a wide variety of performances in one exciting evening of dance. DanceFest is a collaborative project presented by The Vanaver Caravan to connect our community to an abundance of creativity and dance including world dance, ballet, modern, and more. Hosts of DanceFest, The Vanaver Caravan Youth Company and Caravan Kids Project dancers, will perform a work called Omu, an original work conceived of by Co-Founder and Artistic Director Livia Vanaver. This work is based upon the first piece she created with Bill Vanaver in 1972, and includes a combination of original music by Bill Vanaver and traditional music of West Papua, Indonesia.
