An outpouring of more than 200 artworks by local nursery, elementary, and intermediate school students will be displayed in the exhibition, “A Celebration of Children’s Art,” at Vassar College’s 35th annual John Iyoya Children’s Art Show. The exhibition is on view from Sunday, March 8, through Friday, March 13 in the James W. Palmer Gallery of Main Building. The exhibit is free and open to the public, as is a March 8 reception in the gallery beginning at 2:00pm. Sponsored by the college’s Department of Education, the Iyoya show highlights young children’s interest in the visual arts.
