Goss is also guest curating a selection of work from Bard College’s Department of Film and Electronic Arts. Other highlights include video portraits by David McDonald; Taha Awadallah’s memoir of his mother’s life in Palestine and recent music videos by last year’s festival favorite Danielle Katvan. Curated by UK filmmaker/producer/director/actor Andrea Cunliffe, the Catskill Film and Video Festival opens the long vacant Union Mills Building at 361 Main Street, a historic factory built during the US Civil War to make fabric for Union soldiers’ uniforms.
