Re: “Tony Falco: A Legend in Full Flight

Thank you for such a well written, and complimentary article about Tony Falco and The Falcon. We moved to the Hudson Valley in 2003 and were thrilled and amazed when we went to our first pot luck performance at Tony's first venue. Tony is a very humble man who trusts people will take care of the fabulous accomplished musicians... And, it happens. A heart centered purveyor, believer, and supporter of live music and musicians.
"If you build it, they will come."
And..come they did and will.
Thank you, Tony.

Re: “Book Review | Janis: Her Life and Music

Substance abuse and emotional difficulties: the reason these persist together isn't that these difficulties are 'fed' by drug use, but because they seem healed under the influence. What's gnaws at us within our own souls goes away. This feels very good.
To understand how people consume themselves through drugs, we should begin by realizing why.
That said, a critical biography of this amazing artist ~ one of many who battled incredible odds just to be fairly heard ~ is always welcome!

Re: “Scarred & Beautiful

My session being photographed by Charise was life giving. It gave me back my life really, it got me PAST my breast cancer and it gave me an acceptance of what was now my chest. I was full breasted and I loved my breasts in all of their glory and one day I am told, "you have breast cancer, you need treatment immediately" I saw the physicians and was given some choices and I made mine, mastectomy. I knew it would be repulsive to my spouse but I had to do it. Turns out, my spouse was the first person to say, "I agree with your choice, that is what I would do too". I know Charise and her crew know they help women regain their footing but I am not sure they realize, they have saved lives, they have put smiles back on faces. I know my sister Goddesses feel the same as I do, WE owe you our lives!
