Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School provides for the education of the whole child at each stage of development. In the Parent-Child and Kindergarten offerings, childhood is honored and imagination is nurtured through creative play. The Lower and Middle School grades foster development of healthy social relationships and a love of learning. In the High School, young women and men grow academically, artistically, and socially into the creative individuals needed in today’s complex world.

With a unique home-based boarding program designed to meet the needs of the developing adolescent and an active international exchange program, Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School welcomes students from all around the country and the world.
