2018 is turning out to be a great year for music in the Hudson Valley and theCatskills, with strong new releases from area bands and local record labels, as well as high profile appearances by nationally established acts.
With so many releases and great acts touring through our area’s venues, it can be tough to keep up with it all. Well, fear not, BSP Kingston and Chronogram have teamed up to curate a poppin’ playlist of jams that are perfect for your upstate summer! We've picked a mix of born-and-bred local acts like Kyle & The Pity Party, Decora, and The Big Takeover, alongside world-renown acts that call this area home like Four Tet, Eleanor Friedberger, and Marco Benevento. Plus, a ton of great new music from all over the world, some destined to become summer classics (looking at you Janelle Monáe).
