Would it kill you to mention The High Falls Cafe? The family owned cafe has been active in the community for 13 years and serves made from scratch home cooking at reasonable prices. Conversely, The Eggs Nest new owners have made it perfectly clear their customers are not locals. They prefer the city crowd.
