Great article - very thought provoking. Thank you for allowing me and HVSS to participate in your research.
I have been thinking about some of the questions posed by this article since I was interviewed. It seems like the color spectrum can be used as an analogy to intelligence. For many, many years there was the general believe that a person was either intelligent or not. This is analogous to the old black and white color TV. More recently, educators have admitted that there are multiple (but definable and limited in number) types of intelligence. This is analogous to the old 256 color monitors. I believe the reality is that there are an unlimited number of intelligences. This would be analogous to the real world which has an infinite number of colors.
When something is defined, it is also limited by and to the definition. To me this is true with the idea of defining types of intelligences; it creates limitations and categories people. Perhaps we should start to say there are an infinite number of intelligences instead of simply saying there are multiple intelligences.
