Shandaken's track has also expanded greatly in areas such as Herdman Road with rail operations expanding at every corner. There are railroad volunteers out each day clearing more track either that be in Kingston or Shandaken. Shandaken calls for Rail WITH Trail. I'd like to see a Rail With Trail from Kingston to Highmount! I'm a volunteer and resident of Shandaken for 23 years.
