Lovely article and wonderful to hear this about area where I live now. Being an owner of a small handmade business myself, I'm a huge supporter of this wonderful shift to handmade and made local. It is still tough for an indie business to spread the word, but what a huge satisfaction when customers notice, support and best of all develop relationship with the makers.
