This is a concert of new chamber music by award-winning composer Eric Starr honoring the lives and work of groundbreaking British authors and social reformers Vera Brittain (1893-1970) and Winifred Holtby (1898-1935). The presentation includes poetry by the authors themselves, read by Brandy Burre (HBO's The Wire). Also featuring Hannah Holman (cello) and Lara Saldanha (piano).
