A Declaration of Sentiments

Celebrate the Centennial of Women’s Right to Vote in NYS with an exhibition that mixes contemporary art with historical artifacts. Focusing on the turbulent and idea-laden times of the 1840’s when the women’s suffrage movement began as a nexus for understanding why it developed as it did, curator and designer Carrie Feder brings together eighteen contemporary women artists and juxtaposes their work with varied artifacts and images of the period.
