A Man for Every Season: A Musical Tribute to Tony Barrand

Join Old Songs in a celebration of the music of the beloved professor, folklorist and musician Tony Barrand (1945-2022) featuring some of his closest collaborators including John Roberts, Andy Davis, Fred Breunig, Keith Murphy, Becky Tracy, and Heather Wood. Barrand was professor emeritus of Boston University where he taught folklore of dance and song and psychological approaches to the arts. His collection of films and videos of Morris, sword, and clog dancing are incorporated in the Archive of American Folk Culture at the Library of Congress.
