Waldorf Education in the Hudson Valley

Waldorf education understands the importance of educating the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. This approach is designed to address the changing needs of children at each developmental stage, through the arts, sciences, practical work, and a close connection with the natural world.

The Waldorf Curriculum is a living, breathing framework that allows for individuals and communities to thrive in different environments while providing a solid educational foundation. Teachers integrate a multi-sensory and multi-disciplinary approach to academics, art, music, and movement, which fosters independent thinking, self-confidence, and a love of learning. The early childhood curriculum emphasizes imaginative play and regular activities in nature.
