A Night of Dancing—Great Music Across the Years

Evocative music from the '60s to present, selected for unique composition, pulsing rhythms and great performances, includes R&B, salsa, funk, soul, blues, disco, rock, jazz, international and timeless classics—James Brown, Kool & the Gang, Earth Wind & Fire, Joe Bonamassa, Miles Davis, Michael McDonald, O’Jays, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, S.O.S., Inti-Illimani, and El Gran Combo are just a few. Some pieces you will definitely know; others may surprise. The Colony Cafe is a perfect place for dancing. Built in 1929 and located in the heart of historic Woodstock, events take place in the intimate setting of a ballroom which features an original bar, a 360 degree chestnut balcony, soft lighting, and enveloping sound. Couples & singles welcomed. Refreshments and a bar are available.
