The Flow Chart Foundation, dedicated to exploring the interrelationships of various art forms as guided by the legacy of John Ashbery, returns to Hudson Hall with a new evening of one-of-a-kind neo-benshi fun. “Neo-benshi” is when poets and performers remove the dialogue from movie clips and replace it with their own—singing, dancing, reading right out loud in front of the screen!
Join us for re-invented movies from North by Northwest and Close Encounters of the Third Kind to Gilda and Sissy Boy Slap Party.
