A casual stop on the way home at a local farm stand for Skyway Camping Resort’s original owner, Bob London, turned into a 40-year tradition loved by guests. The Skyway Classic Corn Roast/Chili Cook-Off & Homecoming continues to grow each year.

This long-lasting tradition has expanded from roasting up local Ulster County produce to a full-blown block party and chili cook-off. Guests can enter their chili recipes into the contest for the Chili King 2017 title. Each recipe is sold for a few bucks a bowl to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The event starts on Saturday, August 26th, with music by local musicians. Sample chili recipes and relax with family and friends.
