A Thousand and One

When the unapologetic and fiercely loyal Inez kidnaps her son Terry from the foster care system following her release from prison, mother and son set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability in a rapidly changing New York City during the 1990s. Written and directed by rising star A.V. Rockwell, the film debuted at Sundance in January and won the festival's Grand Jury Prize.
