Alhambra: Concert of Spanish-Judeo Music

Exciting arrangements of Judeo-Spanish wedding music, love songs, and instrumental dances on the oud, violin, shawm, dumbek (middle-eastern drum), riq, def and bendir. Founded in 1981 by Dr. Isabelle Ganz, Alhambra is a New York-based ensemble with global performances in Andalusia, the British Isles, Quebec, Bogota, Istanbul, Lithuania, Puerto Rico, and across the U.S. They've played in notable venues like Merkin Hall, Weill Recital Hall, and the Jewish Museum in New York, the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, and the Rothko Chapel in Houston.
