Ambassador Theodore Kattouf: US Policy Toward Syria, ISIS and the Broader Middle East

Theodore Kattouf, former US Ambassador to Syria and the UAE and current President of AMIDEAST, will discuss the challenges in crafting US policy toward ISIS and ongoing conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. In addition, he will examine the larger context of challenges across the Middle East and North Africa and examine challenges for American foreign policy including negotiations with Iran and relations with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Middle East and North Africa.
